Quite an idiosyncratic album, let's tentatively call it progressive chamber folk. Good songs, well recorded and as bonuses we get (really good) instrumental versions of most songs and those who ask for it also get all of the above as 5.1 flac files, which offer a very nice, open soundstage! Something else, really, and well worth your esteemed attention!

An excellent collection of powerful pop songs which reminded me of bands like 'The Pillows', 'Sloan' and, more recently, 'Lykantropi': simple song structures and smart lyrics belieing the skill needed to create such brain worming rock 'n' roll executed with verve and passion. I wish some songs were longer but, would that make them any better? I doubt it. Like the best albums, it whets the appetite for whatever comes next.
